EmpirBus™ SP8 and EmpirBus™ SP12 Switches SP8, Vertical

SP8 and SP12 are digital switch components for EmpirBus control, monitoring and distributions systems. SP8 is an 8-way switch; SP12 can have a nonscreen 12x2-way or a with-screen 10x2-way configuration. These units can provide control inputs to the EmpirBus system via the switches — plus status information back to the user by means of the individual LED indicators.

The panels can be installed in vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) orientation. Fitting the units is simple by using the supplied template. The SP12 switch is designed to be installed in an interior space, while the SP8 switch can be installed either internally or externally. When fitted externally, SP8 is IP67 water-resistant from the front, and the faceplate is UV stable against harsh marine conditions. Both SP8 and SP12 offer user-designed switch legends, nighttime backlighting and alarm indications. They’re ruggedly built for operation from -20 to 55 C.
