The JL Audio M200-10-W-SGL is a heavy-duty 10-inch marine subwoofer built for free-air placement on boats. It features a rugged, weatherproof frame made from special plastic that stops sun and salt damage. The woofer cone uses a tough rubber border to survive bumpy rides on rough water. It comes with built-in multi-color accent lights to illuminate your boat deck at night.

This driver uses a specialized long-travel motor system to push deep bass through open-air spaces. It does not need a sealed wooden box because it uses the hollow air space inside a hull or seat base as its acoustic backing. A strong, synthetic fiber backing plate stabilizes the moving parts. This setup prevents bottoming-out when playing music at high volumes.
