Alpine's Status System components will play your high-resolution music files with incredible high-quality, studio-level purity and sonic fidelity, with a stereo image that'll leave you breathless — almost as if the musicians are playing inside your car. The HDA-F60 four-channel amplifier produces 100 watts RMS per channel, so you'll get the big sound you want, with every musical detail felt clearly. You can bridge the rear channels of this amp to power a subwoofer with up to 300 watts RMS, for some awesome bass bumping to go along with your 100-watts per channel hi-res front soundstage. Or, if you're only interested in the amp's raw power, you can bridge both front and rear channels to power a pair of subwoofers with up to 300 watts RMS each.
The amp's tuning controls sit protected under a removable top panel. Adjustable high- and low-pass filters shape the amplified signal to match your particular speakers and subs, so they'll sound their best. All connections are on one side of the amp, with nifty speaker and power wire plugs, making the amp easy to install or remove while ensuring tight, noise-free connections. There's also a provision for adding an optional wired remote level control so you can tweak the bass volume from the front seat when powering a subwoofer with the rear bridged channels.

Overview: The Alpine HDA-F60 4-channel amplifier is effectively two full range 2-channel amps built into one chassis, labeled Channel 1/2 and Channel 3/4. Each section of the amp is bridgeable, so it can be wired as 4-channel, 3-channel, or 2-channel. It is stable down to 2Ω in stereo, and 4Ω when bridged.
Class D Amplifier Design: The amplifier design is Class D, which uses digital switching power supplies. The result is the amplifier runs more efficiently, generating less heat than Class AB amps.
Power Specifications:
Ultra-Wide Frequency Response: The Alpine HDA-F60 offers a super-wide, frequency range for unparalleled sound quality and detail:
Hidden Controls: All the amplifier's audio controls are hidden under a removable top panel:
Optional Remote Bass Control: The amplifier has an RJ-25 modular jack for adding an optional wired remote (RUX-KNOB.2, sold separately) to control the output level of channels 3/4. The remote has a 20dB adjustment range.
Terminal Layout: For wiring convenience, all of the inputs and outputs on the amplifier are on one side.
Quick Connect Plugs: The Alpine Status series amplifiers use quick connect plugs to attach your system's speaker wires and power cables to the amp for a simple, error-free installation. The quick connect plugs have set screw terminals that are tightened/loosened using the supplied hex wrenches. The power, ground, and remote turn-on connections are made to a single quick connect plug. The power and ground terminals will accept up to 4-gauge (recommended) wire, while the remote terminal will accept up to 12-gauge. There are two quick connect plugs for connecting the front and rear speaker wires. The speaker terminals also accept up to 12-gauge wire.
Audio Input: There are two pair of RCA jacks for connecting low-level or high-level input signals. If connecting the source unit's speaker wire to the input jacks, you can use a Speaker-to-RCA adapter or splice an RCA plug onto the speaker wire. When using a high-level input signal, it may not be necessary to connect a remote turn-on lead because of the amplifier's remote sensing function.
Input Level: There is a 2-position switch to choose the input level range for the RCA inputs; High (500 mV-10 V) or Low (200 mV-4 V).
Fuses: The amp is equipped with two 35-amp ATO fuses; a 70-amp (minimum) external fuse should be placed on the +12V power wire within 18" of the battery.
