Your truck deserves more than any old subwoofer system — you want sound and style. Alpine's R2-DB8V-TRK loaded subwoofer enclosure gives you both. This versatile enclosure features two of Alpine's new R2 subs and will fit most full-size trucks.

Solid subs

The R2-DB8V-TRK features two Alpine R2-Series subwoofers with Kevlar-reinforced pulp cones and rubber High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surrounds for dependable performance at high volume levels. The enclosure handles up to 750 watts RMS so you'll get the solid bass you're looking for and is wired for a 2-ohm load, making amplifier selection simple. The enclosure's side-firing ports use your truck's interior to boost the lows, giving you deeper bass at higher volume levels.

Easy to fit

The rugged 5/8" MDF enclosure is clothed in black carpet covering that combines toughness and good looks, with a central metal Pro-Link™ bracket that lets you adjust the enclosure's total width from 40" to 51" to fit under the seat of most full-sized trucks, or in the cargo area of the Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator JK and JL. An integrated amplifier mounting tray is optimized for Alpine's mono sub amps, and its EZ Change twist-lock grille system gives you speaker protection options to coordinate with your truck's interior. Adjustable mounting feet ensure a secure fit.

Overview: The Alpine R2-DB8V-TRK enclosure features two 8" Alpine Halo R-Series subwoofers pre-loaded in ported enclosure that's designed to mount underneath most full-size truck rear seats (Crew Cab) in a down-firing configuration. The dual subwoofer enclosure can handle 300W-750W RMS and features a tuning frequency of 36Hz.

Enclosure: The Alpine R2-DB8V-TRK is made up of two separate ported subwoofer enclosures that are linked together using the included front and rear ProLink brackets. Each enclosure is constructed of 5/8" MDF and covered in premium black carpet with the port tubes firing out each side. The center linking brackets can be adjusted, providing between 40" and 51" of enclosure mounting width, allowing it to fit under the rear seats of most full-size Crew Cab trucks. Two amplifier tray brackets can be mounted between the two enclosures, allowing a wide variety of amplifiers to be mounted to the enclosure. Each tray bracket must be drilled to match the amplifier's mounting holes. With the enclosure in its widest mounting configuration (51"), the amplifier tray brackets provide 11"(w) x 9"(d) of mounting space for an amp. Both of the enclosures include three installed stacking feet that provide an inch of clearance for the down-firing subwoofers. Additional stacking-feet spacers and rubber feet are included for mounting the enclosure on an uneven floor.

Note: The amplifier mounting trays may not be applicable for all vehicles, depending on the amount of under-seat space (width) available.

Drivers: The R2-DB8V-TRK includes two pre-loaded R2-W8D2 8" R-Series dual voice coil subwoofers. Each driver features a paper and Kevlar reinforced parabolic cone with a mica/talc dust cap. Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround combined with a high-excursion voice coil provide deep powerful bass while maintaining airflow. Dual 2Ω voice coils are internally wired for a 4Ω load at each enclosure's terminals. This lets you parallel-wire both enclosures for a 2Ω load at your amplifier's output.

Terminals: The two subwoofer enclosures feature a pair of spring posts that can accommodate speaker wire up to 12 AWG.
