Upgrade your Jeep's soundbar

Alpine promises good times for the gang in the backseat of your 2018-up Wrangler or your 2020-up Gladiator with this awesome speaker upgrade. Alpine's SPV-65-JLT component speaker system lets you upgrade the factory 3" and 4" speakers in your rear soundbar with 6-1/2" polymer woofers and 1" tweeters. Alpine has also designed this weather-resistant system to endure the environmental harshness of life in your Jeep, even when the top is off.

Worthy sound

This 6-1/2" component system lets you use factory bolt holes and gives you two weather-resistant woofer cones and 1" Teteron dome tweeters. Alpine provides vehicle-specific connectors for easy installation, and premium grilles for a great look. Get ready for a serious sonic step-up.

Important Installation Note: You'll have to enlarge the 4" openings in your soundbar to accept the larger 6-1/2" speakers, and Alpine includes a template for cutting the plastic. If you haven't attempted a project like this before, you should consult a professional installer.

Features

Overview: Alpine's SPV-65-JLT component speakers are designed for select 2018 and later Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited models (JL body style) and 2020 and later Jeep Gladiator models. Each woofer/tweeter pair in this component set is mounted to a plate, which includes a grille covering both. They mount in the soundbar location and are compatible with the non-amplified factory sound systems (without the factory Alpine system).

Note: In 2018 Jeep built two versions of the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, the JK (older body style) and the JL (new body style). These Alpine speakers fit the newer JL body; they do not fit the older JK body.

Wiring: These Alpine speakers have the same input plug as the Jeep factory woofers, so the factory harness is directly compatible. No cutting into the factory wiring is required.

Modification: The panels behind the factory grilles must be modified to accommodate the larger Alpine woofers. A template to mark the cut patterns is included. Once the soundbar is modified, the factory speakers cannot be reinstalled.
