JBL BassPro Go is a powered subwoofer designed to easily mount & charge in any vehicle, augmenting the output of full-range speakers at the lowest frequencies, with quick disconnect features to become a portable Bluetooth speaker and keep the party on the go. With convenient and easy to use controls in or out of the vehicle, BassPro Go allows you to dial-in your music exactly the way you want to hear it. It also has a convenient safety cover to help protect the speaker when used out of the vehicle and to provide an IPx5 marine rating.

The JBL BassPro Go is a unique, hybrid audio solution that functions as a powered car subwoofer and transforms into a portable Bluetooth speaker via a quick-disconnect mounting harness. Designed to charge automatically while docked in the vehicle, it augments low-frequency bass on the road and delivers full-range portable audio with an IPX5 splashproof rating and up to 8 hours of battery life when taken on the go. 

• Dual-Purpose Flexibility: Inside the vehicle, it operates down to 40 Hz, using its internal amplifier to act as a compact active subwoofer. When you reach your destination, a quick-release lever unlatches the unit from its mounting base. Unplugging the single wiring harness lets you use it immediately as a high-output Bluetooth boombox.
• Intelligent Power Management: The speaker receives charging power exclusively through the vehicle's proprietary connection harness. While the car is running, it tops off the internal NiMH battery. When uncoupled, it switches internal amplification profiles to optimize battery longevity. Note that the built-in USB ports are designed to charge external source devices (like a smartphone) and cannot be used to charge the speaker itself.
• Outdoor Resilience: Built with an industrial plastic enclosure, it includes a safety slot cover to seal off the primary vehicle connection ports. Its IPX5 marine rating protects the components from rain, splashes, and easy cleaning if exposed to dirt or sand.
• Social Ecosystem: Features wireless streaming via Bluetooth 4.2, allowing up to three smartphones to pair simultaneously in a "Social Mode" to take turns playing tracks. It also integrates JBL Connect, letting you link two BassPro Go units together for synchronized playback.
