a highly versatile, dockable passive dual 8-inch car subwoofer system engineered to maximize lower-octave output in space-constrained vehicles. Unlike conventional, static subwoofer boxes, the JBL Fuse features a unique
convertible, split-apart modular chassis. It can be deployed either as a single, vertically docked twin-subwoofer enclosure in the cargo area, or unbolted and split into two separate shallow-profile enclosures to slip directly under factory front seats.

Convertible Docking Architecture: Out of the box, the system arrives pre-assembled as a unified vertical enclosure held together by a mechanical anchoring system and mounting feet. If space is tight, removing the mounting hardware allows the system to split into two independent mirror-image slim enclosures.

Passive Radiator Performance Expansion: Because the enclosures are exceptionally shallow, standard tuning ports are unfeasible. To counteract this, each of the two enclosures houses an 8-inch active woofer paired with an 8-inch oval passive radiator. The passive radiators utilize internal air pressure changes to reinforce low-frequency extensions, allowing the system to play lower frequencies with less amplifier strain.

Rugged Enclosure Design: Built from heavy-duty, injection-molded glass-filled ABS plastic, the outer shells are finished in a scuff-resistant matte black textured coating.
