The standout feature of the JBL Stadium 102SSI is its exclusive Selectable Smart Impedance (SSI™) technology. A built-in toggle switch right on the terminal housing lets you instantly choose between a
2-ohm or 4-ohm load. This makes it incredibly easy to configure your wiring layout or reconfigure your system if you upgrade your amplifier down the line.
To achieve superior clarity and durability, the woofer uses a lightweight yet rigid glass fiber and paper pulp composite cone paired with a robust nitrile rubber surround. Everything is anchored by a stamped steel vented basket structure. JBL also integrated a proprietary aero-cooling design alongside an oversized 2-inch voice coil. This system forces air directly past the voice coil to keep the internal assembly cool under heavy usage, increasing power handling and ensuring long-term reliability.
