The Kicker SoloXS L7XS 18-Inch Dual 2-Ohm Recone Kit (Model: 52L7XS182RK) is the official, pre-assembled factory replacement part for the 2-ohm version of the subwoofer. Just like the 1-ohm kit, it allows you to completely rebuild a blown or damaged speaker in about 10 minutes without using any messy glue.
The entire moving assembly comes pre-fused into one single drop-in unit to ensure perfect factory alignment:

Square Pressed-Pulp Cone: The lightweight, ultra-stiff 18-inch square cone.

Tall NBR Rubber Surround: The thick rubber edge that controls the extreme forward and backward movement.

Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coil: A massive 4-inch high-temperature voice coil wound specifically to a 2-ohm electrical load.

Dual-Spider Suspension: The lower textile springs that keep the coil perfectly straight during heavy movement.

Alignment Pins: Crucial steel guide needles used to center the voice coil inside the heavy magnet during installation.

Bolt-In Design: No epoxy, CA glue, or waiting overnight for parts to dry. It utilizes a mechanical locking layout that bolts directly to the aluminum frame.

Impedance Swapping: If you own the 1-ohm subwoofer (52L7XS181) but your new amplifier setup requires a higher resistance, you can drop this 2-ohm kit into your existing frame. The metal frame and magnet are identical on both models.

Cost Savings: It saves you money by reusing the heavy, expensive 830-ounce magnet and cast basket assembly instead of replacing the entire subwoofer.

Unbolt: Remove the screws holding down the top trim ring and the internal bolts securing the spider landing.

Remove: Pull the old, damaged cone straight up out of the basket frame.

Clean: Clean out the deep magnetic gap using tape or compressed air to remove any burnt voice coil debris.

Pin: Insert the alignment pins through the cooling vents on the back of the magnet.

Drop & Fasten: Slide the new 52L7XS182RK assembly over the pins and into place. Tighten the bolts down in a crisscross pattern.
- Pull: Slide the alignment pins out from the back, and you are ready to play.
