The TS-X200 is a surface mount speaker designed for installations where large holes to accommodate speaker depth are either not possible or very limited. This design makes the speaker the preferred choice for installation on the rear shelf of a conventional vehicle or in a motor vehicle.

The included mounting brackets have been carefully designed to provide greater compatibility for your installation needs and to make the installation process easier.

IMPP™ CONE

An extremely rigid yet lightweight cone is essential to avoid cone failure and distortion under high power. Pioneer’s IMPP™ composite cones meet this need perfectly. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) was applied to create a curvilinear cone with varying thicknesses during the injection process, maintaining a balance between lightness (responsiveness) and rigidity (precise audio and tight bass).

CELLULOSE FIBER MIDRANGE WITH POLYIMIDE (PI) HORN TWEETER

The stable electrical and mechanical properties over a wide frequency range, along with the strength-to-weight ratio of these materials, make them perfect for the high-frequency vibrations of the dome.

KEEP IT SIMPLE AND CLEAN

Avoid messy installations and keep your speaker wiring as clean as possible. These speakers use an in-line crossover design and/or an integrated crossover already installed on the speaker basket. This eliminates the need for a bulky external box typically found with passive crossovers, saving you from having to find extra space for it. Additionally, it removes the need for extra wires going in and out of your door to accommodate a woofer in the door with a matching tweeter on your dash.
